Polypolis_Thessaloniki 1st meeting follow up

Polypolis_Thessaloniki got a much promising start. SARCHA associates Pelagia Astrinidou and Paraskeun Kourti, assisted by the Thessaloniki municipality officials, undertook the task to investigate available funds; they will also coordinate preparatory discussions with the project’s participants to facilitate the selection of a city area appropriate for the development and adaptation of the social game to Thessaloniki’s local conditions. Next meeting in February 2012, date TBA. The implementation of the project will follow the ‘open call of interest’ process to be announced on this blog in due time.

Η Polypolis_Thessaloniki έκανε μια πολλά υποσχόμενα εκκίνηση. Οι συμμέτοχοι της SARCHA Πελαγία Αστρεινίδου και Παρασκευή Κούρτη ανέλαβαν με τη βοήθεια στελεχών του Δήμου Θεσσαλονίκης, να διερευνήσουν διαθέσιμες χρηματοδοτήσεις. Ανέλαβαν επίσης τον συντονισμό προπαρασκευαστικών συζητήσεων με τους συμμετέχοντες στο πρόγραμμα που θα διευκολύνουν την επιλογή της κατάλληλης αστικής περιοχής για την ανάπτυξη και την προσαρμογή του κοινωνικού παιγνιδιού στις τοπικές συνθήκες της Θεσσαλονίκης. Επόμενη συνάντηση Φεβρουάριος 2012, σε ημερομηνία που θα ανακοινωθεί. Η υλοποίηση του προγράμματος θα ακολουθήσει τη διαδικασία ‘ανοικτών προσκλήσεων ενδιαφέροντος’ που θα ανακοινωθούν στον ιστότοπο.
